Rest Review – Have you ever tried “a Gay Milkshake” and where to find it?

Hard Rock Cafe is one of the most established brands in the world and the Bangkok unit could not go unnoticed by the public that frequents the Siam Square region. And one of the items that has attracted the most attention of those who decide to have a meal at the restaurant is one of the desserts, which received the fun nickname “Gay Milkshake” by some customers.

The pink drink is a strawberry cheesecake milkshake, which comes in two versions: the first, alcoholic, is served with Absolut Vanilla Vodka aand vanilla ice cream blended with the flavors of strawberry milkshake, with whipped cream and frostred cookies, which they give it an appearance of Mickey ears, being finished with colorful granulated chocolates. Want more gay than that? This version costs 370THB. The second option is alcohol-free and costs 250 THB. For those who don’t like strawberries, there are also Cookies and Cream versions, with and without vodka.

But of course we can not stop talking about the delicious dishes and appetizers. If you are going with a group of friends, it is best to order the Jumbo Combo – signature wings, onion rings, chicken tenders, spring rolls and tomato bruschetta, served with honey mustard, blue cheese dressing and the house-made barbecue sauce (690THB ). The Classic Nachos (190THB) and the Buffalo Style Sliders – 3 mini black angus steak burgers (480THB) – are also good choices as starters.

For a complete meal, hamburgers (with vegetarian options) and salads are also a good option. But we really recommend that you try the house specialties: the Baby Back Ribs (served with fries, coleslaw and an amazing ranch-style beans), the traditional Mexican Fajitas (with options as chicken, shrimp, sirloin steak and veggie) and the Grilled Norwegian Salmon.

While waiting for orders, take a look at the exhibition that the Hard Rock Cafe Bangkok has on its walls, with items ranging from Keith Richards guitar (Rolling Stones) to pajamas worn by Elvis Presley, real relics. In happy hours, it’s worth sampling the signature cocktails, as the Hurricane (rum, mango, orange, pineapple, grenadine and Amaretto) and the new Banana Berry Colada, Passion Fruit Mai Tai and Rock House Rum Punch (360THB each).
